Is that you, Uncle Billy?

We’ve had a little fun at candidate Bill Glahn’s expense over his attitude toward bicycles. Glahn is not amused, as I found out in a recent telephone conversation with him. (More about that later.)

But the scene in the video is what you get when you mount a spittle-flecked rage against bicycles, as Uncle Billy has done. What if the people in the video were kids, intimidated or driven into the ditch by the motorist? Or perhaps swerved into the path of the SUV in reaction to nearly riding off the road?

But this is the poisonous rhetoric of the guy who wants to represent Edina in the Legislature.
