Wally, we are a nation of laws, not madmen and brigands
A tweet from Wally Hudson this Memorial Day weekend:
When reading and listening to these people, always replace “our democracy” with “our power” to understand what they actually mean.
Trump won the popular vote. They haven’t cared for a second. They’re not for actual democracy. https://t.co/nRNBI5FFzF

Wally seems to believe that by virtue of being elected, democracy vanishes for four years — or longer — and that a president, this one, anyway, is free to do what he wants. On top of that, there are some 370 misguided souls who agree with him.
Wally’s shrillness has only increased as the orange schlub he voted for sinks further and further into ineptitude, dementia, congestive heart failure, and kleptocracy; Wally’s cultish devotion remains undimmed.
But even Wally has to recognize that democracy is beginning to heal from the canker of Trump.
The Trump you saw, in portly salute with J. Davenport Vance and the boob from Forest Lake, Whiskey Pete Hegseth, at Arlington National Cemetery today is the best Trump you will ever see. He’ll only get worse.
Iran’s nuclear program was destroyed. It wasn’t destroyed. Iran was defeated. Iran was not defeated. The Straight of Hormuz is closed; no, it’s open; no, we closed it. The scale of the grift by Trump and his spawn is not only unprecedented; it is heretofore unimaginable.
Yet Wally pants with desire for the gelatinous thug Trump.
Thanks to Trump and his fellow travelers like Wally, the U.S. is a laughingstock. Wally and his 370 ‘likers’ are also laughingstock, not to be taken seriously.
Thanks for your feedback. If we like what you have to say, it may appear in a future post of reader reactions.
